psychic mediums

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Do psychic mediums and tarot readers make good money?

when they go to peoples houses and advertise in new age shops etc ?

I have been reading tarot as a spirit medium/ tarot reader for years for friends and am thinking of doing it for extra cash because I can really do it. But could this become, eventually, a full time business. Is there anybody that has tried it ?

Answer by Lunamoth3
Yes, but like any business, you have to be good at what you do. I would suggest you do a search on “psychic jobs/ phone” a bunch of companies will come up. Apply see if you can do readings via the phone. If yes, then design a web- site, you can use pay pal to collect payment from clients at 1st, then if you really hit it big, the people like you…bigger site, employees etc. etc.

Please understand that my answer is only a warning, not an accusation. Those who have the “gift” of reading Tarot will never charge money for doing it. They only accept what people give them. These are the true readers. The others are just “good” at remembering what the cards mean in general and can spout that back to the petitioner. A true reader can see how the cards fit together, because certain cards have different meanings when combined with other cards. If you do have the “gift”, and misuse it, you will lose it, or give people the wrong readings. A true reader will never reveal to a petitioner any ill that will befall them, because in doing so, that ill will return to the reader.

Are you a true real Psychic? I ask because there are so many who claim to be that aren’t which makes it very hard for us who do have true psychic gifts. I am a professional Psychic-Medium among other gifts, I own my own Psychic Healing business yes I make a great living I charge you have to its a service like any other. DO NOT do those phony phone free reading gigs they are BS people aren’t reading or doing divination and are NOT Psychics. If you have a reader you go to I suggest you seek a reading asking for guidance…if ur a true Psychic tap in you’ll get ur answer.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : is psychic mediums prove of life after death?

i have watched shows on living tv of pychic mediums and the things they come out with are so accruate i find it impossible that they would know that information about a person. there is no way i can work out how they know the information about that person without actually speaking to a loved one who has passed away.

Answer by gutbucket
Of course not. “Psychics” are either deluded or liars, almost always the latter.

Look up “cold reading”.

Answer by Magpie – I dag, vi er alle norske
No, they are proof that people like you are gullible.

That’s all.

“the things they come out with are so accruate”

Are you serious?

Answer by robin_n73
No psychic has proven their powers under strict laboratory conditions – in these situations they often claim that their powers are being blocked by bad energy or the artificial environment. From everything I’ve read, mediums and psychics use cold reading, unwitting and willing accomplices and plain old research to find out about their subjects. The fact that people really want to believe is also of great help to them – I expect that’s the main reason they’re still around in 2011.

Answer by Chaz1885
It is a form of false-attribution called “cold reading”. Look it up. It is essentially manipulating a person into revealing the information themselves without them actually realizing it.

For example, a reader will say “I’m sensing someone with a name that starts with the letter “J”. If they see a reaction from a person in the crowd, they instantly call on that person because since they gave themselves away, they become an easy target. The reader will then pull some random names out such as “John” or “James” until the victim actually says the name themselves; yet this is attributed to the reader, who didn’t actually do anything at all except guess.

The reader will then go on to say “Well, i sense you were very close to him” which the person will nod and affirm (otherwise why would they have had a reaction to the name?) The reader will then say something akin to “They want me to tell you that they love you very much, and they are watching over you but they also say that you have some unfinished business”. This is where it just gets vaugue enough that almost any person can identify with it.

See, what a psychic is doing is just a simple form of manipulation and guess work. I mean otherwise why can’t they give a specific name and a specific relation to the person if they really are talking to the spirit? Wouldn’t it be much easier to just say “I’m talking to your cousin Johnathan” rather than saying “I’m sensing a “J” somewhere”? You see how this works?

Psychic mediums themselves don’t have proof of being legitimate, so it’s pretty much impossible to believe what they say is true, IE they’re “talking to a ghost.” Even then, it’s hearsay.

Better evidence of life after death is a ghost showing-up to a large crowd of people and saying, “Hi, my name is John, I was alive from 1859-1943, my grave is located in the cemetery located at XXXX Main Street, and I’m evidence of life after death. Take all the pictures you want.”

Well, guys, I agree that there are many people out there making claims that they cannot back up, and I DO know what cold reading is. That is not how all mediums operate however. I’ve been a medium for 6 years and I do not go about it in a way that would allow for cold reading at all. I am able to hear those who have died and are now in spirit AUDIBLY. However, when I help someone make contact with a loved one or friend who has passed I ALSO record so that THEY are able to hear the person speaking. There are no tricks involved. I am not delusional and I am not a liar. I am an intelligent and perceptive person, who used to be a skeptic until it actually HAPPENED to me. I am not going to be so stupid as to ignore a person who is speaking to me. There is no ‘imagination’ involved. I ask for information that is specific in order that they can validate themselves to their family or friends. Also, in just communicating with people in spirit, I have had them tell me things that I had no way of knowing, and I would then use online sites with official government records and find that I had been told the truth.

I get judged by people who do not know me (you guys) and lumped in with all the people who are taking money for their ‘services’ and manipulating and using those who are vulnerable. I find that really irksome, but I am very thankful to be able to help others in this way and so your estimation of me is of no importance.

(BTW Chaz, I DO use full names.)

Answer by Rev. Lynn D.
I am a psychic and a medium. I went through years of training and continue my training even now. I don’t make lots of money and have no reason to pretend I am contacting spirits. This is real and it is for the benefit of us all. Those in other realms are ready and anxious to help us with our struggles. People who condemn it and call us liars and con artists will not open their minds to new ideas.

Of course there are people who will try to use this for their own gain and to cheat others but you will find those kind of people in every profession including so called Televangelists.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Milw psychic mediums that do house calls?

I don’t need a lecture on ghosts not being real or having my local head of church help. I am a practicing witch and I live in a house full of entities or spirits. I cannot find someone to preform an in home medium reading (so to speak) within my known networks. Does anyone know of anyone who performs legitimate readings at someone’s home?

Answer by Nous
I doubt you will since no one is going to beleive it!

The Bible strongly condemns spiritism, mediums, the occult, and psychics (Leviticus 20:27; Deuteronomy 18:10-13). Horoscopes, tarot cards, astrology, fortune tellers, palm readings, and séances fall into this category as well. These practices are based on the concept that there are gods, spirits, or deceased loved ones that can give advice and guidance. These “gods” or “spirits” are demons (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). The Bible gives us no reason to believe that deceased loved ones can contact us. If they were believers, they are in heaven enjoying the most wonderful place imaginable in fellowship with a loving God. If they were not believers, they are in hell, suffering the un-ending torment for rejecting God’s love and rebelling against Him.

Answer by Ashie
Hello I am Ashie,
I have performed many rites of exorcism on individuals as well as domains.
In order for the rite of an exorcism to be performed it is necessary to view the domain to find out what kind of spirits, demons or ghost, I AM dealing with.
Oftentimes when there is more than one spirit, they will come together and form a collective body knows as a poltergeist.
This often happen, in their viewing, they feel as being rejected and or denied with no communication
I would recommend for a true viewing to take place, to find out the reason why each ghost, spirits, and or demon, is there and receive the message from each one.
After this has been done, I would aid and assist each individual entity to cross over and to go to their designated place, and once this is obtained, then placing Ashie’s mystical sacred seals around your domain, to thereby alerting each discarnate sprit that your domain is not a collative station, for demons, ghost and or spirits to dwell within anymore.

Yeshua (Jesus), Taught, truth, love, care, and compassion, and would not want anyone on earth to judged, and he would also want any individual who could aid or assists this person who is in this negative situation to do so immediately.

For he is a loving god, and he himself exorcised demons, and he would not want to see anyone tormented in any kind of way, weather it be demonic or spirits, or by earthlings.

Within light, love and compassion.
Blessed Be

First of all, there is no need for someone to go to your house as spirit removal is also done at a distance. In the world of spirit, distance makes no difference in healing.
Secondly, most psychics do not know how to remove spirit entities/ghosts, or dark forces, they just say they do, most of them have no idea what they are dealing with.
Thirdly, spirits do not get into a house/person/place without being invited or allowed in some way.
Fourthly, of all this knowledge you have of spiritual things, wouldn’t you be able to remove whatever is in your house yourself?
Lastly, have you ever heard that what is in your house is also within you? For example: People who keep a messy house with clutter and crap everywhere usually have messy minds which are the cause for that house being messy. So to speak, you also may have spirit entities in yourself, but you do not know it yet, as you are not at that level of understanding.
To fix your problem, you should contact master exorcist John Livingston.
I wish you the best

Psychic Medium Vickie Gay YOU ARE THE MIRACLE

Written by HEYOKA

The Heyókȟa symbolize and portray many aspects of the sacred, the Wakȟáŋ. Their satire presents important questions by fooling around. They ask difficult questions, and say things others are too afraid to say. By reading between the lines, the audience is able to think about things not usually thought about, or to look at things in a different way.

Principally, the Heyókȟa functions both as a mirror and a teacher, using extreme behaviors to mirror others, thereby forcing them to examine their own doubts, fears, hatreds, and weaknesses. Heyókȟas also have the power to heal emotional pain; such power comes from the experience of shame—they sing of shameful events in their lives, beg for food, and live as clowns. They provoke laughter in distressing situations of despair and provoke fear and chaos when people feel complacent and overly secure, to keep them from taking themselves too seriously or believing they are more powerful than they are.
