Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : (Funny question) Why do white people remain in haunted houses; other people would move?

Have you noticed that the people on all those haunting shows are white? I can tell you that African-Americans would move IMMEDIATELY, if a chair moved on its own. Those white families contact psychics, mediums, Priests, Wiccans,. etc. I think it is amusing and illustrates a cultural trait of constant exploration.

Yeah, that’s hilarious! I guess Whites aren’t as used to strange things happening in their home.

Well, your question is very general to say the least. That being said, I can tell you that I’m white, and I would NOT be staying in a house that is haunted for one minute. I would leave that place immediately…

Answer by MissDementia
LOL! This white girl would be on the phone to her real estate agent IMMEDIATELY. My house here in Cali is only about 15 years old, but my tiny little house in Norway is over 300 years old and some of my relatives (and some others) not only died in that house, they are buried directly behind it. I’ve NEVER seen so much as a hint of a ghost.

One thing I did notice about those haunting shows – every last one of these people who were being “haunted” were so religious they practically had their priest on speed dial. In every show of “The Haunting” I’ve ever seen at some point they say “So we called Father Smith, our parish priest….”

I’m thinking it’s religious hysteria, really. Believing in something is one thing, but to blame every little thing on it, well, that’s someone with “issues” to put it politely.

If i am just renting the house then maybe i will move.
but if i own the house, why should i move? why will i allow a certain ghost to bully me and send me out of my house?.
I’d rather do something for that ghost to move out and not me moving out.

FIRST, I don’t believe in Ghosts….but I still feel something following me around at night in my house when the lights are off…..Weird eh?

Yeah, I listen to Eddie Murphy too…Hack.

Glad you’re rich enough to just pack up, stay at a hotel indefinitely, not worry about the mortgage or anything…..

This is beginning to instill in me that all others who aren’t white must be rich…..

Can you give me a loan?

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : What made the media choose black culture to be popular?

Black culture at one time was considered taboo.

In todays society media has decided to choose black culture and focus on it. Doing their very best to make it popular.

@ Nancy

There is people of other races that are much more talented than the blacks you speak of. But for some reason, the media continues to ignore them and choose the black artists to promote along with the white ones that have adopted that same culture.

Its amazing really to me. The media must have a lot of black people in it.

Answer by Nancy Kay
Black talent, not the media, made that happen. Look around you! Talent is everywhere.

Answer by Oxl
They tend to be dumb consumers that buy every bit of junk, psychics, non-nutritious foods, etc that is presented to them.

Answer by Colleen
I am unsure about what you are talking about. Are you a racist or something? Yes there are black artists covered by mainstream media. And Central Americans (Daddy Yankee, Pit Bull, Jennifer Lopez, Mark Anthony. And White: Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, Justin Timberlake. You are right none of these artists white, black, asian, hispanic, etc.. that are on mtv are very talented. But I think instead of pointing your finger at a specific race, you should support local music that has tons of talent from every race.

Answer by KingArthur13th
I’m pretty sure what you mean is hip-hop culture and the media doesn’t try and make it popular, it’s already popular and that’s why the media pays so much attention to it. If Japanese culture became insanely popular in the west then the media would start focusing more on japanese culture.

In a reading you may want to ask about:

A loved one who has passed (I am often visited by spirits and angels) “Can you tell me if my Auntie is with us?” Does my mother have a message for me?”
Love and romance. “Does my boyfriend really love me?” ” Will we marry?” “When will I meet my true Love?”
Family. “I have trouble getting along with my mother-in-law. Why doesn’t she like me?” My daughter is struggling right now.”
Career. “Will I change jobs soon?” “Will I get the promotion?”
Pets: “Where is my lost cat?” “Why does my dog look so sad?”
Past lives: “Did I know my boyfriend in a past life?”
Guides: “Tell me about my guides.”
Health. “How can I get more energy?” “Why am I so stressed out?”
Spiritual growth. “I think I am gifted. Do you see these gifts?” “Why am I at a stuck point?”

General advice comes as naturally to me as answers to specific questions.
