Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Has anyone ever had an accurate psychic reading? What do you think of Michael Mapes?

I need an accurate reading but I can’t waste money on a phony. I’m in the worst situation of my life and I need an answer to a question or I don’t know what will happen to me. I found a website on Michael Mapes he’s supposed to be one of the best but he’s expensive. $ 100 for 15 min. I am willing to pay that if i knew for sure he was accurate. Does anyone know a good psychic who would be willing to answer one question? Please no rude answers Im in a messed up situation and am thinking bad thoughts such as suicide. I just need one question answered if anyone knows someone who could help me find the answer. Thank you.

Answer by Esther
They are all phonies. Don’t throw away your money.

Answer by Joseph M
They are all FRAUDS….every ONE…even the ones who believe they are psychic.

Millions of dollars have been put up as a bet to any psychic who can perform a very simple set of accurate predictions. No “psychic” has even DARED to take the test.

Just give this idea up. You are wasting your money. Mapes will just “cold read” you, it’s an old carnie trick.

I could give you a seemingly accurate pyschic reading just by asking you some leading questions.

Answer by Merkaba
I do not know who Michael Mapes is. Is the $ 100 for 15 minutes in person, phone or email? Please be careful whomever you decide to contact. Yes I have had some accurate advice, but most of my best decisions, help, have come from own intuition and the ability to read situations and people.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Question about psychic/tarot readers and my relationship situatio/n?

I went and saw an in person psychic today for the first time and she asked for a price range and I said $ 50, she gave me a tarot reading which usually costs $ 65 but I guess she felt generous. Anyway she asked my first name only, told me to place my palms on the tarot deck and think of 1 wish and 1 question and to keep the wish a secret. After I cut the deck a few times and cut it in 3’s then picked one. She asked my question which was if I was going to be able to take care of myself financially in the future so my mom doesn’t have to worry and she laid the cards out.

Everything she said was very specific, and I couldn’t sense any generality whatsoever which was what I intended on looking for. She said I’m very healthy but have a stomach problem (I have a stomach hernia, it doesn’t cause discomfort so I couldn’t of directed her attention to it specifically). she brought up my mom will always worry about me but I need to worry about her because she has somebody in her life that’s nice but manipulative and likes to use pity to get what he wants. My mom’s boyfriend uses all his health problems as excuses for the things he does, the woman also said she feels its not a real relationship but more her taking care of him…this is exactly true even though I barely gave her any information on the subject. and lastly I asked about the situation with my ex, that’s all I asked and she said it seems I hadnt given the relationship much attention due to past experiences before her and that I didn’t let that go yet. Truth is a dated a girl for 5 years and we broke up 3 years ago, I still carried some baggage into my last relationship that kept me from putting full effort into it. she also said that we will get back together and will be by the summer but to give her time because she’s confused and has a lot to think about. The thing is, I had chatted with an online psychic who said the same thing about my ex and did an email reading that also said the same thing.

So based on how I couldn’t find any generality in what she was coming out telling me (nothing was inaccurate, and nothing was off even by a little) should I assume that perhaps me and my ex will reconcile even if it doesn’t seem like we will?

Answer by AnonymousTarotReader
It sounds like you found a real reader who knew what she was talking about. She was accurate on everything, and not generalizing, take her advice and see how it goes from there. On top of the reading you had with this woman, you had another tell you the same thing, there really isn’t much to say about it, just wait and see what happens, but it definitely looks like this is going in your favor.

I am a reader myself, not all readings are clear, be it the information is not really yet to be known, or the reader is not tuned in, but on average, a good reader will be 80% accurate, often times they will be 100%, but not always, we are human, we make mistakes. But, as far as the accuracy, this is a better rate than doctors or surgeons, so it’s pretty good.

I hope you don’t mind, but I pulled three cards for you myself, and this seems to go along with what you have already been told. I simply pulled three cards, past, present, and future. The cards I got are The Lovers reversed for the past, obviously this is showing there has been a relationship issue in the past, probably a bad choice was made, and you are now having to deal with the consequences of your decisions. The central card is the Two of Cups, and this does show a reconciliation between two people, a definitely connection, and I have to agree with what the other reader told you, even though there is a new connection, there is still baggage from the past. But I do have to say that it looks as though there is a definitely connection between you and another person here that is promising, the connection is already in process if you know it or not. The final card, or future card for the end of the summer is the 7 of Pentacles. This is where I differ a little bit with the others, but again, this is a good sign, this card is about waiting, and the harvest so to speak. The time seems to be very close, but not completely right yet, I think the progress will be seen by the end of the summer, but she may still be hesitant, maybe waiting to see something else before making the final decision to move forward with the relationship.

I do have a feeling of home responsibilities being something that are going on here, possibly taking care of things at home, such as an elder person, and/or a younger person that takes up time, so this could be a bit of a slow down in moving forward as fast as you would like. There is a feeling of settled conditions, there will definitely be peace and harmony in the air, and clearing up love issues for you is clearly shown by the numbers.

With that said, the final card to me is about making long term investments, things are looking good, but it will take time to be in full swing again, but yes, I do see things going the way you will like in your relationship, you simply have to have patience and let it happen naturally.

Hope this helps.

no, it’s all bogus…the fortune teller leads the person on, and your gf probably indicated she likes you, and so the fortune teller just told her what she wants to hear

it might become true, but not because the fortune teller told us – there is no way to predict the future

Answer by Dingle Berry
No i don’t i’m not superstitious or gullible at all. Thats almost as dumb as believing in a god lol

Answer by ResultOfAlGoreInventingInternets
A fortune teller told me that believing in fortune telling is retarded.

Answer by Terry W
I used to read Tarot; plot astrological charts; read palms.

But I had come from a superstitious family

I first ditched it because I found that the people who bought my services gained nothing of value through my readings

I then read up and reflected on the service I had given – I discovered it was just cold reading (as is all fortune telling)

As to those who say “not even fortune tellers take it seriously”, this is not true. I was mortified when I discovered I have been conning people. It put me through a crisis. It did, however, make me examine more closely the concepts of ‘free will and determination’, ‘fate’, ‘destiny’, etc. and led me to the conclusion that we make our own futures.

This in turn led me to become a counsellor, a therapist and a life coach. These skills really do help people gain control of their lives. Counselling and therapy release a person from the ‘drag anchor’ of the past, life coaching releases to options of the future.

No, The Bible strongly condemns spiritism, mediums, the occult, and psychics (Leviticus 20:27; Deuteronomy 18:10-13). Horoscopes, tarot cards, astrology, fortune tellers, palm readings, and séances fall into this category as well. These practices are based on the concept that there are gods, spirits, or deceased loved ones that can give advice and guidance. These “gods” or “spirits” are demons (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). The Bible gives us no reason to believe that deceased loved ones can contact us. If they were believers, they are in heaven enjoying the most wonderful place imaginable in fellowship with a loving God. If they were not believers, they are in hell, suffering the un-ending torment for rejecting God’s love and rebelling against Him.

So, if our loved ones cannot contact us, how do mediums, spiritists, and psychics get such accurate information? There have been many exposures of psychics as frauds. It has been proven that psychics can gain immense amounts of information on someone through ordinary means. Sometimes by just using a telephone number through caller ID and an internet search, a psychic can get names, addresses, dates of birth, dates of marriage, family members, etc. However, it is undeniable that psychics sometimes know things that should be impossible for them to know. Where do they get this information? The answer is from Satan and his demons. “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). Acts 16:16-18 describes a fortune teller who was able to predict the future until the apostle Paul rebuked a demon out of her.

Satan pretends to be kind and helpful. He tries to appear as something good. Satan and his demons will give a psychic information about a person in order to get that person hooked into spiritism, something that God forbids. It appears innocent at first, but soon people can find themselves addicted to psychics and unwittingly allow Satan to control and destroy their lives. Peter proclaimed, “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). In some cases, the psychics themselves are deceived, not knowing the true source of the information they receive. Whatever the case and wherever the source of the information, nothing connected to spiritism, witchcraft, or astrology is a godly means of discovering information. How does God want us to discern His will for our life? God’s plan is simple, yet powerful and effective: study the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and pray for wisdom (James 1:5).

One question: did your girlfriend pay the fortune teller?

Answer by Geezah
Do I believe that there’s a practice called “Fortune Telling”? Yes, it’s about as old as humanity itself.

It doesn’t matter though, because Lightning From the East just posted an answer, and will use his vote bots to give himself “best answer” as always.

Answer by Raquel
No. Don’t take it seriously. Fortune tellers don’t even take it seriously. They just use tricks and leading questions to tell customers what they want to hear and make money.

Answer by godless
No. It’s just a way for con artists to scam the gullible. There will always be snake oil salespeople if people want to buy snake oil.

The future is not yet determined.

I think it’s possible. They do have a funny way of knowing everything that’s going on in your life. Although, a lot of that can be read from how you conduct yourself. I think many fortune tellers are just masters at reading people.

but it wasn’t a rock, ROCK LOBSTER!!!

Answer by Master
No, I think it’s total nonsense

Answer by Richard M
I would love to hear how the fortune teller was able to get your name out of your gf.

I find it rather funny that people are rejecting religion but latching on to vampires, werewolves, astrology and fortunetellers as if they are more real than God.

The Psychic Twins give Dick Clark and Mario Lopez Psychic Readings

Written by Goddessmother

In a reading you may want to ask about:

A loved one who has passed (I am often visited by spirits and angels) “Can you tell me if my Auntie is with us?” Does my mother have a message for me?”
Love and romance. “Does my boyfriend really love me?” ” Will we marry?” “When will I meet my true Love?”
Family. “I have trouble getting along with my mother-in-law. Why doesn’t she like me?” My daughter is struggling right now.”
Career. “Will I change jobs soon?” “Will I get the promotion?”
Pets: “Where is my lost cat?” “Why does my dog look so sad?”
Past lives: “Did I know my boyfriend in a past life?”
Guides: “Tell me about my guides.”
Health. “How can I get more energy?” “Why am I so stressed out?”
Spiritual growth. “I think I am gifted. Do you see these gifts?” “Why am I at a stuck point?”

General advice comes as naturally to me as answers to specific questions.
