Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : How much should I charge for Psychic Readings.?

I read cards, palms, and can go clairvoiant.
I have been doing it for free but someone asked for priceing… How much is to much and how much is to little.

I don’t own or rent a shop,, or have an online site to worry about .. so my overhead is really low….

Thanks.
Many have asked why dont i know the answer…. or something along those lines… the reason is… I can not read for myself…Its one of the first rules of being a Psychic.
I am seeing answer from you all that Appear to suggest within .25$ of a dollar per minute… I was thinking more along the lines of $ 1 dollar per question? Is that reasonable? Feel free to update your answers.

well, i’d start out cheap and as you build clientelle start charging more. maybe go like $ 20/$ 30 for 30 minutes.

Check at other online sites to find out what their prices are to give you a baseline of what to charge.

Answer by DominoSweetie
You shouldnt do it at all!

Answer by desperatehw
$ 25.00 for every 15 minutes. That should be fair enough to not get you into trouble. But look into the future first to see if you get arrested at that rate.

Charge as much as you feel ok with charging, and then see what the market would bear. I’d also look for how much other “psychics” are working for.

Answer by briansgirl
if you are really clairvoiant, then you would know how much people are going to be willing to pay…..hmmmmmmmmmm…..

Answer by ez_cheesey
You should be paying people to let you give the readings.

Answer by atomictulip
I would call any area psychics and aske them how much they charge. Try to base your price on that, but adjust it accordingly, lowering your prices in order to establish a clientelle.

Well, if you’re really psychic, then you can read my mind
and know how much I think you should charge.

Let me get this right , Your a psychic reader and your asking us? lmao. no more then 50 cent!

Answer by GreatGasMileage
You are providing a service that requires a very select degree of skill / talent / ability. When faced with such a situation, one usually charges “what the market will bear.” Premium prices are charged by those skills that are more rare. Why do doctors charge more than lawyers, lawyers more than opticians, and opticians more than the guy who mows your lawn? The more elite and difficult it is to enter a field, the more you can charge because there just aren’t that many of you. Your notoriety can affect your prices as well. The more famous you get the more money you command.

Charge whatever you feel won’t scare away future business.

Some of the other posts recommend checking out what others in your proposed profession are charging. Good idea.

This could become a lucrative career move for you.

Good luck!

Go to keen.com. You find hundreds of psychics charging anywhere from $ 1/min to $ 10 or more /min. Compare yourself with them and see where you fit in. As you develop steady business your price will go up.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Has anyone here been to a psychic before and are they good with gay people relationships?

So me and my boyfriend had some things come up in our relationship. I mean like he decided it would be for the best if we remained friends for now and call the relationship quits until he gets help for his addiction and other life problems because simply put he feels he is putting me in danger of this relationship until he gets help for himself. Anyways that is not the point.

Long story short (please don’t lecture me on my relationships) we are taking a break and by the time he is done with his treatment program if I am still single we will go back out and work on making our relationship stronger. What I want is to see a psychic so I can find out the fate of my relationship.

I also feel like there are other things he is not telling me as to why he left because he also said he had a lot on his mind about us. He is a very quiet and reserved individual. So have you ever been to a psychic before and if so has anything he or she told you come true or worked?

Do you suppose a psychic can give good advice for a gay relationship like mine? I have a few questions to ask but before spending that much money on a professional psychic I need to make sure I am not wasting my money on a scam if that is what you consider a scam or something.

Answer by Damon A
The short answer is no, I don’t think a psychic can give you good advice.

So far, I’ve been told by a channeller that I was a B-17 pilot shot down over europe in WWII. A tarot reader predicted something bad followed by something good, I’ve had the bad part and still waiting on the good, I’ve been waiting for 10 years. Oddly enoguh, a rune caster told me that I was a Japanese engineer during WWII. I think I heard a window break as those readings and predictions left the room.

A palmist told me I would find love. I did by adopting a dog, but that wasn’t really the sort of love I had in mind. A “gypsy” read my fortune in a crystal ball, predicting wealth. I gotta tell ya, there ain’t much of that laying around.

I put about as much faith in “psychics” as I do in our government of late. That’s not much.

The tarot reading was free, everything else I’ve tossed out about $ 20 for, and it’s been the most inacurate advice I’ve ever recieved.

In a reading you may want to ask about:

A loved one who has passed (I am often visited by spirits and angels) “Can you tell me if my Auntie is with us?” Does my mother have a message for me?”
Love and romance. “Does my boyfriend really love me?” ” Will we marry?” “When will I meet my true Love?”
Family. “I have trouble getting along with my mother-in-law. Why doesn’t she like me?” My daughter is struggling right now.”
Career. “Will I change jobs soon?” “Will I get the promotion?”
Pets: “Where is my lost cat?” “Why does my dog look so sad?”
Past lives: “Did I know my boyfriend in a past life?”
Guides: “Tell me about my guides.”
Health. “How can I get more energy?” “Why am I so stressed out?”
Spiritual growth. “I think I am gifted. Do you see these gifts?” “Why am I at a stuck point?”

General advice comes as naturally to me as answers to specific questions.
