Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : What to name a group of characters?

In my book, there are real people with magical powers that live in secret around the world. I don’t know what they should be called, though. I don’t like the name wizards, because its already been overused, i think, with harry potter and all. Any suggestions?

Answer by That guy in the corner
Magi,
Sage,
Magus
Warlock
Mystic

There are Hundreds of names for Magic users from every country and Culture around the would, Personally I’d say to use them all depending on were they are in the story, but a good name for the Group itself could be something like “The Order” or “The Clan”, something that reflects them as a Group.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Can you help me make sense of this paragraph on the Ego?

Ego has its use for Spirit. Ego is the way by which Spirit perceives reality from one place and one moment. Ego is how Spirit has uniqueness of experience. Ego is also how Spirit expresses in a particular way that is unlike any other. The reason for not being attached to ego or your own personal reality is so that you are free to realize your total Self as Spirit which is unlimited, unbounded and capable of being, doing and having anything. Then are you truly free to live your life fully with the power of Spirit.

rearranging the above paragraph.
Question?
How are you truly free to live your life fully, with the power of Spirit???

SPIRIT IS Unbounded, unlimited, capable of having anything it desires (at any time)
EGO is a – a body used as a mechanism with uncontrolled abilities
– a vehicle needing a driver for an earthly adventure in God’s workshop.

TOGETHER you express TOTAL SELF and are truly free to live your combined LIFE fully WITH THE POWER OF SPIRIT

Answer by Peggy F
Spirit is the freedom within to live all your dreams. Ego is the governor or filter that will ground you in reality.

Answer by 12 Syllogisms
Mari, it is not meant to be understood by the likes of you or me. Only the supernaturalist, mystic, “I don’t wanna believe in reality” psychic spiritualist is supposed to give meaning to it.

Freud said the ego is your “executive” and that it must operate your system as any executive would do with a company. Or a captain to a ship. Stay true to yourself and to reality, and your spirit will follow like the tail on a kite.

Your spirit, your soul, is the “me” in “me, myself, and I”. So make it the good executive and you will end up with a good spirit.

I’d keep traveling North and head into Newport RI, with breathtaking mansions, a beautiful coastline and a lovely wharf area for dining and shopping. You might want to continue on from here to Cape Cod, but beware of incredible crowds!

I’d also keep Boston in mind, one of my all time favorite cities. Lots of great sights and dining, easy to get around, so much to do!

Indian Head Resort in New Hampshire is also a wonderful place, as is Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV, which might not be that far from you, depending on where in PA you are. Boy, that’s one wide state!

I’d also highly recommend Arizona. We rented a car there a few years back and just drove around for ten days! The Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, The Painted Desert, The Petrified Forest, Sedona and good old route 66. Just seeing the cactii when you come out of the airport is a knockout!

Driving the Pacific Coast Highway is also an incredible experience. Start in LA and work your way to San Francisco, or vice versa. You’ll be tracking the Pacific Ocean all the way, and seeing places like Santa Monica, Malibu, Big Sur, Hearst Caste, Santa Barbara, Pebble Beach, Carmel and Monterey. Unforgettable. Have fun wherever you decide to go.

PS. I’d go into international travel, but we’d be here all night!

Love Point, Maryland might just be the place. It is a small town just right just a little ways east of Annapolis, MD on the other side of the bridge.

In a reading you may want to ask about:

A loved one who has passed (I am often visited by spirits and angels) “Can you tell me if my Auntie is with us?” Does my mother have a message for me?”
Love and romance. “Does my boyfriend really love me?” ” Will we marry?” “When will I meet my true Love?”
Family. “I have trouble getting along with my mother-in-law. Why doesn’t she like me?” My daughter is struggling right now.”
Career. “Will I change jobs soon?” “Will I get the promotion?”
Pets: “Where is my lost cat?” “Why does my dog look so sad?”
Past lives: “Did I know my boyfriend in a past life?”
Guides: “Tell me about my guides.”
Health. “How can I get more energy?” “Why am I so stressed out?”
Spiritual growth. “I think I am gifted. Do you see these gifts?” “Why am I at a stuck point?”

General advice comes as naturally to me as answers to specific questions.
