Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : What was your psychic experience like?

Did you ever go to a psychic boutique before? I feel I am at a part in my life where I need advice from my higher power…I’m not sure but life are giving me to much half answers. My spirit guides are great, they help me get a lot in my life but overall my despair is growing. So anywho I just wanted to hear your experience with a psychic reading? What did they tell you? How did it make you feel? Did you ever get a reading in San Francisco?

Answer by Night
I’m a professional psychic (I use the term intuitive consultant) and spell caster. I got nothing but positive feedback from my clients. Have worked on the phone (I no longer do that) face to face and online.

Make sure you go to someone reputable. If they ask you for more money to “buy candles to cleanse you out of spirits” get out of there fast! The more normal the psychic looks (ie no ton of jewelry & makeup & no scarf on her head) the less BS you will get.

Answer by Don H
It most important thing that you learn is that you have less money leaving than you did coming in.

The despair is coming because you are not listening to what the guides are telling you.

If you were you would be thrilled with everything about life.

Love and blessings Don

Save your time and money. Honestly, psychic readings are all scams and those people are no more spiritually connected than me. They should feel terrible about living by taking advantage of emotionally confused and unstable people. They lie, deceive, and cheat you out of your money.

If you’re looking for religious and spiritual fulfillment, look elsewhere.

I would suggest that you check out Blog Talk Radio before you spend your cash. There are numerous gifted people who have shows and give free readings of all sorts. Some offer distant healing, tarot readings, oracle card readings, connecting to your ancestors, chakra readings and just about any other type you may think of. Some are channels for archangels and ascended masters while others are mediums who can obtain information from beyond the Veil… a very wide variety.

The psychics that I have seen in person have been great. They were so accurate with details. Online I threw my money away. But the psychics that I have seen in person have moved to another city so I have not seen one in years. But I would love to reconnect with one of them. This one gave me advice about my husband and she was absolutely correct.

I’m not psychic but I have had tons of readings. The most accurate one that I got where names were even pulled out of the blue was a tarot card reading from The head witch there is amazingly talented and has helped me through a lot. Good luck!

Call your local New Age Bookstore. They almost always have readers who work with them and that have a good tract record.

Answer by C.G.
They’re just scamming you for your money.

Answer by madetoloveChrist
They are not of Christ. If you truly believe, listen for the Holy Spirit in quiet time. Psychics and witchcraft are of the devil.

Answer by Sara
It’s not bad, it’s just a waste of time. Talk to someone who you’re genuinely friends with and could logically dispense advice to which would be much more useful to you.

Best of luck.

Answer by Vulcan
It’s not bad… it’s just stupid. They aren’t going to tell you anything you didn’t already know.

Yes, because there is no such thing as a psychics, only charlatans willing to take your money.

Answer by Mystical Marcus
Why not go to a relationships counselor instead?

Answer by M
Waste of money and a waste of your time. Instead sit down and see where the problems are (take a piece of paper and write down the things you think are causing the problems, basically what works and what doesn’t, what needs to be strengthened and needs some work).

Some arn’t real psychics and just rack in money by making you think they are. Psychics are real, but like fortune tellers, there are many who lie and pretend to get money through businesses or books.
Be careful of who you think are actually psychics and who are not.

Answer by wendalore
It’s not bad and it doesn’t contradict Christianity, just what some churches say. *I* believe that some psychics really have some knowledge from another dimension, and that some have none, and that some have a little. Therefore, be careful. Don’t make any decisions based on what a psychic says unless you’ve settled in your own mind, based on some kind of evidence, that the psychic is a true psychic. Over a period of time, you can test out what they say. If they make predictions that don’t come true… there you are!!! If they give you what seems like bad advice, be careful. If their advice is very general, like… “I see that you will take a trip.” or “You will see a boy with short hair tomorrow.” well, that’s an old trick.
But, like I say, I believe that some of them are real.

If you are a Christian, than yes it is very wrong to partake in the methods of mediums, clairvoyants, etc . . because their power comes from false gods. They too can be accurate with information as the witch of Endor in the book of 1 Samuel 28:7-20 They also operate in signs and wonders. The sorcerers of Pharaoh was also able to turn his staff into a snake.

When satan, at the time lucifer, left heaven he left with power. This is the source of power these mediums, psychics, clairvoyants and all operate. Don’t be deceived many of them still claim to be Christians while dipping in white magic as well. We are to not take part of it at all.

For advice with your relationship, again, if you are a Christian you already know if this person is the right one for you. From experience, when I didn’t know the Lord as I do now, I called one them. They pull you in with leading questions to feed off the information you give them. They are also trained to keep you calling back again and again with scripted lines.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Cor. 13;4-7 If you have this then you have no need of someone to scam your money.

Yes, it is bad to talk to psychics. The Bible strongly condemns spiritism, mediums, the occult, and psychics (Leviticus 20:27; Deuteronomy 18:10-13). Horoscopes, tarot cards, astrology, fortune tellers, palm readings, and séances fall into this category as well. These practices are based on the concept that there are gods, spirits, or deceased loved ones that can give advice and guidance. These “gods” or “spirits” are demons (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). The Bible gives us no reason to believe that deceased loved ones can contact us. If they were believers, they are in heaven enjoying the most wonderful place imaginable in fellowship with a loving God. If they were not believers, they are in hell, suffering the un-ending torment for rejecting God’s love and rebelling against Him.

So, if our loved ones cannot contact us, how do mediums, spiritists, and psychics get such accurate information? There have been many exposures of psychics as frauds. It has been proven that psychics can gain immense amounts of information on someone through ordinary means. Sometimes by just using a telephone number through caller ID and an internet search, a psychic can get names, addresses, dates of birth, dates of marriage, family members, etc.

However, it is undeniable that psychics sometimes know things that should be impossible for them to know. Where do they get this information? The answer is from Satan and his demons. “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). Acts 16:16-18 describes a fortune teller who was able to predict the future until the apostle Paul rebuked a demon out of her. In some cases, the psychics themselves are deceived, not knowing the true source of the information they receive. Whatever the case and wherever the source of the information, nothing connected to spiritism, witchcraft, or astrology is a godly means of discovering information.

The Heyókȟa symbolize and portray many aspects of the sacred, the Wakȟáŋ. Their satire presents important questions by fooling around. They ask difficult questions, and say things others are too afraid to say. By reading between the lines, the audience is able to think about things not usually thought about, or to look at things in a different way.

Principally, the Heyókȟa functions both as a mirror and a teacher, using extreme behaviors to mirror others, thereby forcing them to examine their own doubts, fears, hatreds, and weaknesses. Heyókȟas also have the power to heal emotional pain; such power comes from the experience of shame—they sing of shameful events in their lives, beg for food, and live as clowns. They provoke laughter in distressing situations of despair and provoke fear and chaos when people feel complacent and overly secure, to keep them from taking themselves too seriously or believing they are more powerful than they are.
