Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Which is really better, online astrology sites or seeing any live astrologer?

Are live ones better because they are psychics? Or will online sites using computer programs, be less likely to make human errors? If one is better, why even bother with the other?

What about quality of the astrologer? If I spend money, how can I make sure they are the best?

Answer by Scott Cain
The modern psychic is a scam artist. Get 2 in a room and they will have different views. Experiment with them. Watch the show Penn & Teller: Bulls h i t on their episode about Psychics. For more detail. Do online that don’t charge. Why pay for something that is not certain? Go to two different psychics, ask the same question, don’t tell them anything more than the question (like don’t say this is what another psychic said, don’t give them any information for them to use for that matter) and I guarantee you that you will get 2 different answers.

Live astrologers are rarely psychics. Nor do they need to be to do good chart readings. “Reading” the chart means applying astrological theory to the factors shown in the chart, and anyone who wants to learn the theory can do readings.

However, live astrologers have one advantage over computer program readings … a real mind can balance all the factors out against each other.

Example: Say you have Moon in Taurus in the 7th house, sextile Uranus in Cancer in the 9th.

The computer can only tell you what each factor means … Moon in Taurus … Moon in 7th house … Moon sextile Uranus … Uranus in Cancer … Uranus in 9th house.

But it CANNOT tell you what Moon in Taurus in the 7th house house, sextile Uranus in Cancer in the 9th. Furthermore, the computer does even recognize that the Moon placement is counterbalanced by Sun in Aries in the 6th, and Mercury in Gemini in the 8th ….

Reading a chart is a very complex matter, where every factor is affected by every other factor, and you have a MINIMUM of 36 factors to consider simultaneously.

How can you make sure they are the best? Contact all the astrologers you can find, and ask them who … besides themselves … they would recommend and why. Then go to the one who gets the best recommendations.

Astrologers aren’t psychics, so that isn’t really a benefit to seeing one in person rather than a computer.

The difference is mainly in the ability of the astrologer to synthesize the different placements in a chart. A computer can provide isolated delineations for individual placements, like Mars in Taurus, Mars in the 7th house, Mars square Saturn, etc. But it can’t tell you what it means when you have all three of those placements at once. The benefit though is that those isolated delineations can sometimes be kind of thorough.

The downside is that it is kind of a crapshoot when it comes to finding a decent astrologer. Most of the time you will probably luck out and find someone who is halfway decent, and can give you information about your chart that you wouldn’t know otherwise, but there are some crappy astrologers out there too. My main advice would just be to study the person’s website or written work ahead of time, and try to get a sense of if they seem to approach the subject in a way that is both respectable and jives with your own personal views.

So, there are advantages and disadvantages to both approaches. The only decent computerized reports I know of are on I don’t know if that is what you were thinking of, but be careful that you don’t get ripped off by non-astrologer scam artists if you go that route.

Good luck!

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Do psychics in the Asia see people’s ancestors with their personal Gods?

I know that psychics over here see most people in heaven because of Christianity/Judaism ect. being the dominant religion, but when people believe in other gods or Deaths, do psychics see people’s ancestors according to that religion? I’ve always wondered and if you can give me some background info that would be great.

Answer by Raphael
In all honesty, I don’t know why these different religions have different gods. These events happen all the same in different religions leading me to suspect that they are all coming from the same god or gods. Psychics testimonies over here are about the same over there and if we’re talking about Japan I had lived there to and plan on going back.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : What are sanguiarian and psychic vampires?

This is a whole other question but, do sanguiarian and psychic vampires have anything to do with dhampirs?

Answer by Alexander
a sanguinarian vamp are vampires who feed on blood whil psychic vamps feed off of the auras and energys of other people. dhampirs im not entirely sure

Answer by David
Sanguiarians (like me) drink blood, psychic vampires consume Psi energy.

Answer by Cap’n Morgan
Fictional creatures – I won’t dignify them with the term ‘mythical’, since they have no connection with the vampire of myth and folklore. Central European peasants never went into such detail with their legends, that’s the work of internet theorists and second-rate horror writers.

Answer by Lord Bearclaw of Gryphon Woods
Neither one is real. So-called “sanguinarians” were the first wannabee vampires in the early 90’s after the popularity of the role-playing game Vampire the Masquerade. When it was pointed out to them that ingestion of blood for nutritive purposes couldn’t sustain them and due to the iron content would make them sick, they created the concept of the “psi’ vampire to rationalize that they didn’t really “need” blood, they were just absorbing “energy” from their victims or “donors”.

Both labels are just indicative of people living in functional delusions – meaning they work, eat, play, sleep – but persist in this irrational, illogical delusion that they are somehow “vampires”.

Both delusions break completely down when subjected to testing using a controlled process and the scientific method and both are easily debunked.

The Heyókȟa symbolize and portray many aspects of the sacred, the Wakȟáŋ. Their satire presents important questions by fooling around. They ask difficult questions, and say things others are too afraid to say. By reading between the lines, the audience is able to think about things not usually thought about, or to look at things in a different way.

Principally, the Heyókȟa functions both as a mirror and a teacher, using extreme behaviors to mirror others, thereby forcing them to examine their own doubts, fears, hatreds, and weaknesses. Heyókȟas also have the power to heal emotional pain; such power comes from the experience of shame—they sing of shameful events in their lives, beg for food, and live as clowns. They provoke laughter in distressing situations of despair and provoke fear and chaos when people feel complacent and overly secure, to keep them from taking themselves too seriously or believing they are more powerful than they are.
