Hey, if murderers and rapists can become “born again christians” in jail, then why cant i?…just right at the end of my debauched life? is there a time limit on when you have to convert before you get to heaven?

Sorry but deathbed repentance is too late and there is no second chance as we read in the KJV bible. What ever you sinned here on earth, you will take the power of it through out eternity.

Because you can’t plan to repent. Repentance is far deeper then a few words spoken, repentance requires true change, and at that point it may be too late.
It is not by good works that people get into heaven, if that were the case then it would not be accessible to anyone, rather repentance which requires true change is necessary.

Speaking as a non-Christian, the only experience I have is through Theology and Philosophy GCSE coursework, but from what I know, I think that doing what your saying would be repenting for the sole purpose of having a great afterlife, and I think that (for Christians) God knows more to you than your actions – not exactly that ‘God can read your mind’ it’s just that I think He will know what your intentions were.

Do you know how a lot of people talk about the world coming to an end? (How the entertainment industry depicts such an end is far fetched in relation to what the Bible says).

However, the fact that this world, not the literal earth, but the destruction of all that is bad in the world will be destroyed is going to occur in Gods due time. What is noted about about this destruction at Matthew 24:36 is, “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son (Jesus Christ), but only the Father (Jehovah God).”
So who is to say that you die before this time? If you are in the world manifesting acts that God disapproves of your acts can cause to be deemed part of what is bad.
In addition you have knowledge of your acts as to what is right & wrong in terms of your living style. You have an opportunity to seek greater truth to make living a clean life a great benefit to you. There is a difference between those who have faith& are knowledgeable of God and his will and deliberately live a life that goes against Him, and those who have no faith or know nothing of God and live a life that God disapproves. From such a question you already manifest faith in him to even develop such a question.

Take for example your best friend, how does she prove herself to be your best friend if she daily shows otherwise by betraying you? Will you be convinced by her actions that she cares for you or even desires to be your friend? Likewise how do you prove yourself a friend to God by your actions?

Well I have a Gold membership and I wanted to play Halo ODST or Halo 3 mystic that it came with but on either i can only play with friends or recent players. I have good connection. I want to know how to be able to play with random people so I can get games going faster.

I think Halo 3: ODST doesn’t have a matchmaking system so you have to invite people or join someone’s game

Ledyard is near Norwich. I have a job in Ledyard and I want to live close to the job in a nice town. I know Ledyard is a nice town but I haven’t found any good studio or 1 bedroom places there.

Well how far away do you mind living? Mystic (about a 20 min drive) is a wonderful town on the sound, that is both beautiful and semi-close. Also, Mystic has great place to eat and a few things to do (such as the port, and the aquarium). The only downside is that it can be pricey.
